Live Listing Viewer

The Live Listing viewer shows what’s actually published on the store right now — the title, description, screenshots, icon, and the rest of your metadata as your users see it. It’s a read-only snapshot, scoped to the storefront and locale selected in the top bar.

  • Open a project and choose the Storefront (App Store or Google Play) and Language / Region you want to inspect in the top bar. The viewer reflects those selections.
  • The app must be published on the selected store for content to appear. For some fields — the App Store Keywords field in particular — you also need connected store credentials.

Open Live Listing from the sidebar. The page header carries a View live listing link that opens the app’s page on the store in a new tab.

Below the header, the Live tab lists every content section for the selected store, with the last-synced date at the top:

  • Title
  • Subtitle (App Store) or Short Description (Google Play)
  • Description
  • Keywords Field — App Store only. Requires an App Store Connect connection; if it isn’t linked, the section prompts you to Connect App Store.
  • Icon
  • Screenshots — grouped by device size, with a count. Click any screenshot to view it full size.
  • Promo Text — App Store only.
  • What’s New — App Store only, with the current version.

Text fields show a character-usage bar against the store’s limit for that field, so you can see how much of the available space the listing uses. Google Play listings omit the App Store-only sections (Keywords, Promo Text, What’s New).

Use the Live Listing as your ground truth. When an audit or the Asset Editor recommends a change, compare it against what’s live here to see the gap. The character-usage bars show where you’re leaving space unused — an App Store title using 12 of 30 characters is leaving keyword room on the table. Switch Language / Region in the top bar to check each locale’s live text separately.

If a section reads “No live listing data available,” the app either isn’t published on that store yet or the listing hasn’t synced. The Last synced timestamp tells you how current the snapshot is.

  • Compare the live listing against your audit scores on the Watchtower.
  • Connect store credentials to unlock the App Store Keywords field and publishing — see App Store linking.
