Adopt AI-Suggested Content
Each audit generates alternative copy for your listing — rewritten titles, subtitles, descriptions, and more — built from what the audit found. Those alternatives show up right inside the field editors so you can compare a suggestion against your current draft and adopt it with one click.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- Suggestions come from your latest audit. If you’ve never run one, there’s nothing to adopt yet — run an audit first (see the audit engines overview).
- Alternatives can only be adopted while you’re viewing your source (primary) language. Adopting is hidden on translated-language views so a suggestion never overwrites a translation.
- Adopting counts as an edit to your draft — the same drafts and revisions rules apply.
Where suggestions appear
Section titled “Where suggestions appear”Open any field in the Store Text editor. At the bottom of the field page, an AI Alternatives section lists the suggestions available for that field, with a count. Each suggestion is one alternative for that one field.
If there are no suggestions, you’ll see “No AI-generated content available yet. Run an audit to generate suggestions.” If a newer audit has run since these suggestions were generated, a Newer audit available badge flags them as out of date.
Adopt a suggestion
Section titled “Adopt a suggestion”1. Compare
Section titled “1. Compare”Each alternative card names the hypothesis it came from and tags it as base (a straightforward, on-strategy rewrite) or creative (a bolder alternative). For text fields, Apptonomy shows a side-by-side Current Draft vs. Suggested comparison plus a short explanation of why the change was proposed.
2. Adopt
Section titled “2. Adopt”Click Use This (for text) or Adopt (for icon or screenshot suggestions). The button shows Applying…, then an Applied badge once it’s in. The suggested value replaces what was in your draft field, and Apptonomy records that the value came from the content engine so you can trace it later.
3. Review before you save
Section titled “3. Review before you save”Adopting drops the text into the Next Version editor — it isn’t final until you save. If the suggested copy is over the field’s character limit or contains a character the App Store rejects, the usual validation applies: the field flags the problem and Save stays disabled until you trim or fix it. When your project has translations, saving the adopted source text refreshes them (the button reads Save & Retranslate).
Verify it worked
Section titled “Verify it worked”The alternative card shows Applied, the Next Version editor holds the suggested text, and the diff against the live listing reflects it. Save to commit it to the draft.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”The AI Alternatives section is empty
Section titled “The AI Alternatives section is empty”There are no suggestions for this field yet. Run an audit — suggestions are generated as part of the audit and attach to the fields they apply to. If you just ran one, give it a moment and reload.
It says “Newer audit available”
Section titled “It says “Newer audit available””A more recent audit exists than the one that produced these suggestions. They’re still adoptable, but they reflect the older audit. Open your latest audit to work from the current recommendations.
I don’t see an Adopt button
Section titled “I don’t see an Adopt button”Adopting is only available on your source language. Switch back to the primary-language view of the field. (Adopting is also gated by your plan’s editing access.)
