Plans & Entitlements

This is the single source of truth for what each plan includes. Every other page that mentions a quota or a gated feature links here rather than restating the number, because the numbers can change.

Apptonomy has five tiers: Free, Basic, Pro, Elite, and Enterprise. Free requires no card. Basic, Pro, and Elite are self-serve and can start with a free trial. Enterprise is custom and arranged through sales.

Annual billing is available on every paid tier at roughly a 17% discount versus paying monthly. The exact annual figure is shown on the plan card and at checkout.

Audit modules per tier

The audit report itself contains different modules depending on the plan. Store text, screenshot, and icon analysis run on every tier, including Free.

When a module isn’t included in your plan, the audit records a skip for that module rather than running it. Upgrade to the tier shown above to turn it on.

Free-report display caps

On Free, keyword analysis and competitor discovery both run, but the report displays at most 10 keywords and 3 competitors. This is a display cap, not a smaller analysis: the engine still computes the full set behind the scenes, and every paid tier shows all of it. The same cap applies to both the anonymous Quick Scan teaser and a signed-in Free account. Upgrade to any paid plan to see the complete keyword and competitor lists.

Add-ons

If you need one more project than your plan includes, the Extra Project Slot add-on adds a single project for €50 / $50 / £40 per month and stacks — buy as many as you need. It’s available on Basic, Pro, Elite, and Enterprise. Enterprise already has unlimited projects, so the add-on is hidden there. Manage add-ons on the Add-ons tab.

Free trial and expiry

New accounts can start a 7-day free trial on Basic, Pro, or Elite without entering a card. You get one trial per account, and you can’t start a second trial on another organization while one is running. When the trial ends without a paid subscription, the organization moves to a trial-expired state and its workspace becomes read-only until someone adds billing. Your projects and past audits are preserved — nothing is deleted at trial expiry. See Managing your subscription for the recovery path.

Roles and who can change plans

Plan and quota entitlements apply to the whole organization, but only the owner can change the plan, manage payment, or cancel. Admins and members work inside the plan’s limits without seeing billing. See Members & roles for the full permission model.

How this is sourced

Tier definitions — quotas, audit modules, and feature flags — come from the platform’s plan configuration and are enforced server-side on every gated action. Prices are quoted in EUR, USD, and GBP; the euro is the canonical currency and the other two are derived from it using periodically refreshed exchange rates, then rounded to a clean price. The currency you see is chosen from your region. Because prices are recalculated as rates move, treat the figures above as current-at-writing and read the live number from the plan card and checkout.
