Scheduled Audits

Scheduled audits run your ASO audit automatically on a cadence you choose, so you catch listing regressions and score drift without remembering to run one by hand. This page covers how to turn them on, the cadence options, and how the report gets delivered.

  • You need a linked store on the project — a scheduled audit runs the same audit as a manual one, so the project must have an App Store or Play Store app configured.
  • You need the editor role on the project. Viewers can see the schedule but can’t change it.
  • Scheduled audits require a plan that includes automated audits. On a manual-only plan the schedule stays available to read but saving it prompts an upgrade. The available cadences (how often audits may run) are also plan-gated. See Plans and entitlements for what your plan includes.

In your project, go to Config and open the Scheduled Audits tab.

Turn on Enable Automated Audits. The scheduling options appear below the toggle once it’s on.

Under Frequency, pick one of:

  • Daily
  • Weekly
  • Bi-weekly
  • Monthly

Higher frequencies may be limited by your plan. If you pick a cadence your plan doesn’t allow, saving returns an upgrade prompt rather than silently downgrading.

The day picker changes with the frequency:

  • Weekly and Bi-weekly show a Run Day picker for the day of the week (Monday through Sunday).
  • Monthly shows a Run Day picker with 1st, 15th, and Last day.
  • Daily has no day picker.

Scheduled audits run in the early UTC morning on the day you choose. The Schedule Status card shows the computed next run so you can confirm your settings.

Click Save Changes. The button stays disabled until you’ve changed something.

Every completed scheduled audit is emailed to all organization members — the tab lists the addresses it will send to under Email Delivery. You don’t manage a separate recipient list here; membership drives it.

The Send email setting throttles audit-completion emails independently of how often audits run. Options:

  • After every run
  • Daily
  • Weekly
  • Bi-weekly
  • Monthly

Use this when you want frequent audits — say, daily change detection — but only want a periodic digest in your inbox rather than one email per run.

After saving, the Schedule Status card shows the next scheduled run. You don’t need to keep the page open — the schedule runs server-side. The first report arrives by email on the next scheduled run (subject to your Send email cadence), and every scheduled audit also lands in Audit History alongside your manual audits.

Your current plan either doesn’t include automated audits at all, or doesn’t allow the cadence you picked. Choose a lower frequency, or review Plans and entitlements to see which cadences your plan covers. Leaving the schedule disabled never requires an upgrade — the gate only applies when you enable it.

Confirm the schedule is still enabled and check the Schedule Status card for the next run time — a report only sends after a run completes. If your Send email cadence is set to a digest (weekly, monthly, and so on), the email waits for that window even though the audit already ran. Emails go to every organization member, so also check that your address is a member of the organization.

Saving a schedule is a project mutation. If the organization’s trial has expired or its subscription is canceled, the save is blocked. Resolve the billing state and try again.
