Performance Dashboards

The Performance section shows your app’s real store metrics — impressions, downloads, conversion rate, ratings, and more — pulled from App Store Connect or Google Play Console. Unlike the audit engines, which analyze your listing, these dashboards report what actually happened after people found it.

An audit tells you whether your listing should convert; performance analytics tell you whether it does. Watching impressions, conversion rate, installs, and ratings over time is how you confirm that a listing change moved the numbers — and how you catch problems, like a conversion-rate drop after an update, before they compound.

  • Connect a store. Analytics only appear once your store account is linked. If it isn’t, the page shows a Connect App Store or Connect Google Play prompt. See Connect App Store Connect and Connect Google Play Console.
  • Check your plan. Performance analytics require a plan that includes them — see Plans & Entitlements.
  • Pick a date range. The date-range picker at the top of the page scopes every metric and the period-over-period comparison.

The default view is a set of KPI cards grouped into sections. Each card shows the metric’s value for the selected range, a change indicator versus the prior period, and a sparkline. The groupings differ slightly by store:

  • Downloads / Acquisition — first-time downloads, redownloads, and active devices (App Store); install events, uninstall events, and active devices (Google Play).
  • Store Performance — impressions, product page views or store-listing visitors, and conversion rate.
  • Hygiene — review or rating counts and an average-rating gauge.

A left-hand nav opens deeper views. Some are common to both stores; others exist only where the store provides the data:

Sub-pageApp StoreGoogle PlayWhat it covers
InstallsYesYesInstall volume broken out over time
RatingsYesYesRating counts and average over time
By CountryYesYesMetrics broken down by storefront/country
Store FunnelYesYesImpressions → page views → downloads conversion funnel
CumulativeYesYesRunning totals across the range
Before / AfterYesYesMetrics compared around a listing change
SessionsYesApp session activity
Installations & DeletionsYesInstalls vs. deletions, including update types
Active Devices by VersionYesActive device counts split by app version
Promotional ContentYesPerformance of promotional content / custom store listings
Search TermsYesThe search terms driving store traffic
Traffic SourcesYesWhere store visitors came from

The split reflects what each store exposes: Apple reports sessions and detailed installation/deletion events, while Google reports search terms, traffic sources, and promotional content. Read like-for-like metrics (impressions, conversion rate, ratings) across both, but don’t expect a metric that only one store publishes to appear on the other.

Any view can be exported. Use the export menu to download a CSV of the current numbers or generate a PDF performance report for the selected range.

Performance is the feedback loop for everything else. After you ship a listing change from a revision, come back and use Before / After and the conversion funnel to see whether it worked. When conversion or ratings slip, that’s the signal to run a fresh audit and open the Keywords & Clusters workspace.
