Getting Started

Apptonomy is an App Store Optimization (ASO) platform. You point it at an app listing, it runs an audit, it turns the findings into ranked edits, and you publish the ones you approve back to the App Store or Google Play. Then it re-audits on your cadence so you can see whether the changes moved the needle.

The loop is: audit → edit → publish → re-audit. Everything in the product hangs off that loop.

You don’t need all of these on day one, but they’re the vocabulary the rest of these docs use.

  • Organization — your team’s workspace. It owns billing, members, and every project. You get one automatically when you sign up, and you can belong to more than one.
  • Project — one app, tracked across both stores. A single project holds your app’s App Store listing and its Google Play listing side by side, so you audit and edit them in one place instead of two.
  • Audit — a scored analysis of a listing at a point in time. It grades the listing across pillars (Discoverability, Conversion, Trust, AI Discoverability, Localization) and produces prioritized findings.
  • Revision — an immutable snapshot of a listing edit cycle: your draft changes to the title, subtitle, description, keywords, and screenshots. You work on a draft, then publish it to the store.
  • Watchtower — the project home. It’s the continuous-monitoring surface over your listing, your audits, and your competitors.

Three steps get you from nothing to your first scored audit.

Sign up, verify your email, and land in the app. If a teammate sent you an invite link, use that instead so you join their workspace directly.

The first time you sign in, Apptonomy walks you through creating your organization and your first project, and hands you a short getting-started checklist.

Create a project for your app and run an audit against its listing. Prefer to see it before signing in? The public Quick Scan runs a real audit from any store URL with no account at all.

Quick Scan runs a real audit from any App Store or Google Play URL without an account. Paste a link, get a scored teaser in under two minutes, and claim the result into an account when you’re ready for the full plan.
